The Activities Program Coordinator is responsible for developing and coordinating a successful resident centered activity program. Responsibilities include team involvement and networking in the community to recruit, orient, train, place and recognize volunteers. The Activity Director will assess client needs, interests, plan and manage resources and run / support activity program needs.
Exhibit a caring and compassionate attitude while articulating true concern for people
One year experience in long term care or assisted living / personal care preferred
Past experience preferred in program oversight and development in addition to volunteer recruitment
Ability to use the computer
Demonstrate organizational skills and ability to coordinate and plan
